Get Outdoors & Ride
A couple of our favorite things are to work with non-profit organizations and to establish + manage a brand — and with Lucky to Ride, we got to do both. The partnership we’ve created with this truly amazing organization has been one full of creative and personal joy. To capture the positive energy of their programs and curate that into a multifaceted brand was a welcomed challenge and total labor of love.

Gearing Up for a New Look
Lucky to Ride is made up of cycling programs along with a sister bike shop, which are all dedicated to offering underserved youth in their area an opportunity to learn and grow from the seat of a mountain bike. They started out as a chapter of a national program and came to us at a point in their journey where they were ready to branch off and stand on their own. For this, they needed fresh branding, a new website, and an array of supporting elements in both print and digital. Enter: The Jacks.
The Answer
New Wheels & Fresh Trails
We dove right in on the full brand discovery and logo mark not only for them as a parent organization but also on standalone (yet cohesive) logo marks for their brick-and-mortar bike shop and 5 cycling programs. Once established, we carried their new look(s) across all channels from a brand-new website to email newsletters and printed materials. It was a journey of illustration styles, color palettes, and curating an aesthetic that emulates Lucky to Ride’s genuine mission. From the initial penciled sketches to a bright new brand, the final outcome of this partnership was a dynamic and resounding success!

The experience
Just Like Riding a Bike
Since the launch of their rebrand in 2020, we have hit a happy cruise mode in our relationship with the Lucky to Ride team. From print requests and website updates to branding a fundraiser event, we are on call to make it all happen. Working with such a great organization is as feel-good as the bright and fun designs we are so lucky (pun!) to have had the opportunity to create and share with the world.
